About Brittany Taylor

Brittany Taylor is a student at Lawndale High who is known for being the head cheerleader and the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Kevin Thompson. Voiced by Janie Mertz, she is often perceived as the stereotypical rich and popular cheerleader. In the future, an older version of Brittany appears in the show Jodie, this time voiced by Arden Myrin. Despite her reputation as the "dumbest" kid at Lawndale High, Brittany does have moments of gullibility and distraction but also shows occasional moments of intelligence and success, especially when it comes to military tactics and creativity. There are hints of naivete in her feelings, especially towards Kevin, and she imagines a future where she becomes successful without him. As the series progresses, Brittany becomes friendlier with Daria and Jane, seeking their advice and guidance at times. After graduation, her relationship with Kevin becomes strained, and it is uncertain if they stay together. Despite her sometimes vapid exterior, Brittany displays intelligence, military knowledge, and writing ability, and has a generous, optimistic, and protective side, particularly when it comes to her interactions with Kevin. In one episode, she proves herself to be the smarter one when she and Kevin are paired up for a project involving the purchase of a car for an economics assignment.
