About Judy Funnie
Judy Funnie, voiced by Becca Lish, is the older sister of the main character Doug and comes from an artistic family. She attends a special art school for gifted individuals and is an aspiring actress and artist with a deep love for William Shakespeare's works. Judy often wears a beret and dark glasses, giving off a beatnik style. Despite feeling embarrassed by her seemingly "boring" family, Judy has a strong and respectful relationship with her brother Doug. She also has a normal sibling rivalry with him, but they always put it aside when faced with a problem. Additionally, Judy is pursued romantically by Roger, but she does not return his feelings and even rebuffs his affections with a Shakespearean poem. However, she later gives him a kiss, suggesting she may have romantic feelings for him after all. In recording her character, Lish provided lines as written and added in improvisation to her lines, giving Judy a unique and authentic voice. The character of Judy was inspired by the creator's first girlfriend and the appearance of his wife's sisters.
