Abe Simpson outfit
Abe Simpson is dressed in a simple, casual outfit that seems functional and comfortable for an elderly gentleman. He's wearing a light pink, long-sleeved sweater, layered over a similar colored dress shirt. The sleeves of the sweater are a touch too long, bunching slightly at his wrists. His pants are light blue and appear to be very relaxed in fit, with a straight cut, offering ease of movement. The pants' leg length is a bit too short, exposing his ankles. Abe's footwear consists of brown fuzzy slippers, complementing the color of his shirt. For accessories, he sports a pair of large, round, light-framed glasses, evidence of his advanced age, and a polo tie, an odd choice indeed for an otherwise relaxed outfit. His outstretched arm and open mouth suggest he is either in the midst of an exclamation or conversation, and his clothing, while not the latest fashion, adds to his endearing character.
About Abe Simpson
Grampa Simpson, also known as Abraham Jebediah "Abe" Simpson II, is a character on the long-running animated television series, The Simpsons. Voiced by Dan Castellaneta, Grampa is the elderly paternal grandfather of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson. A World War II veteran and retired farmer, Grampa is known for his senility, long-winded, and often confusing storytelling style. He is a recurring character on the show, first appearing in a minute-long short on The Tracey Ullman Show before the start of The Simpsons in 1989. In addition to being the father of Homer Simpson and the father-in-law of Marge Simpson, Grampa has two illegitimate children and multiple siblings, including an older brother named Cyrus who lives in Tahiti and a younger brother named Chet who owns an unsuccessful shrimp business. Grampa has been briefly married to Amber, Marge's sister Selma Bouvier, and Rita LaFleur. Even Homer marries the same woman Grampa briefly wed in Las Vegas on a drinking binge. Grampa has also been linked to Marge's mother, Jacqueline Bouvier.
