Lana Anthony Kane, played by Aisha Tyler, was the top female agent at ISIS before its disbandment and was also Archer's girlfriend. She has dark brown hair, green eyes, and is often seen wearing short cowl necked sweater dresses and black thigh-high stiletto suede boots. Lana has abnormally large hands for a woman, which are frequently ridiculed by other characters. A tall and beautiful black woman, Lana is a competent and deadly agent who is frustrated by being treated as the number two field agent at ISIS because Archer's mother runs the agency. She is an expert in Krav Maga, and usually carries two Tec-9 submachine guns in shoulder holsters. Lana drives a purple car and is known for her incredibly large and strong hands, a source of frustration and ridicule for her. Before becoming an agent, Lana was an animal-rights activist and her liberal leanings show in the way she approaches situations. She is shown to be politically correct and is often the "straight man" to the antics of the other characters. However, she is capable of questionable behavior, such as enacting revenge on her cheating ex-boyfriend Cyril and engaging in extreme acts of unnecessary violence, despite her background as a social activist.
