About Doug Dimmadome
Doug Dimmadome is the wealthy and powerful business owner in Dimmsdale who is often portrayed as a conflicted character. He has been both a villain and an ally to Timmy Turner, once attempting to use tainted milk to control the citizens of Dimmsdale, but also helping Timmy at times. In Channel Chasers, his internal struggle with whether or not to help Timmy is highlighted when the Turner parents ask for his assistance. Ultimately, he realizes the importance of love and lets the Turners use his studio to reunite with Timmy, but then has security remove them. His role in each appearance varies, as he can be seen as a villain, an ally, or a neutral character. His greed and desire for success often create problems for the town, but he is willing to help Timmy when it benefits him. Regardless, his main goal is to make money, and he will do whatever it takes to achieve that, often owning a new business in each episode he appears in.
