Timothy Turner, known as Timmy, is a ten-year-old boy who is the main character of "The Fairly OddParents." He is described as an average kid that no one understands, due to his neglectful parents and his cruel babysitter, Vicky. After a year of misery, Timmy is given two magical fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, and later a fairy godbrother, Poof. The character of Timmy was originally voiced by Mary Kay Bergman, and after her passing, Tara Strong took over the role. In live-action adaptations, he is portrayed by Drake Bell and Caleb Pierce. Throughout the series, Timmy is defined as proud, selfish, and arrogant, but also witty, clever, brave, and heroic. He is constantly seeking popularity and affection, as evidenced by his attempts to win over his crush, Trixie. Despite his flaws, he is also caring and loving. Timmy struggles with attention and school, often receiving poor grades, and he tends to look for shortcuts, favoring Cosmo's easy wish ideas over Wanda's more effortful ones. Timmy is known for meeting his future self and is suggested to possibly suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He is shown to be bad at riding motorcycles, largely due to his lack of a proper license.
