About Kimi Watanabe Finster

Kimi Watanabe-Finster is a character in the animated series Rugrats and its spin-off All Grown Up!. She made her first appearance in the movie Rugrats in Paris in 2000 and her show debut in Angelicon. She is Chuckie Finster's stepsister and was the last character added to the Rugrats cast. Kimi's mother, Kira, married Chuckie's father, Chas Finster. After the movie Rugrats in Paris, Kimi became a regular character on the show. She also appeared in All Grown Up! and in the second and third Rugrats films. Dionne Quan voiced her in the original series and All Grown Up!, and Charlet Chung voiced her in the reboot. Kimi is depicted as joyful and adventurous, often getting herself and her new brother Chuckie into risky situations. Her introduction to the show, as well as her mother's marriage to Chuckie's dad, were used as teaching tools to help viewers understand and adapt to changes caused by remarriage. She is known for her bravery, love for adventure, and quick action, drawing comparisons to the character Tommy. Unlike Tommy, however, she tends to act without thinking first.
