Mr. Mackey outfit
Mr. Mackey is donning a rather straightforward but smart getup. He has chosen to wear a green long-sleeved shirt that is neatly tucked into his dark blue trousers. Complementing his shirt is a dark blue tie that hangs prominently against the green backdrop. His attire is rounded off with a pair of simple black shoes that match the overall simplicity of his outfit. Mr. Mackey's ensemble suggests a professional or educational setting, with a touch of personal style evident in the choice of his vibrant green shirt, and his oversized glasses, to match his rather unusually large head.
About Mr. Mackey
Mr. Mackey is the school's guidance counselor with a distinct Southern accent and a habit of mumbling "m'kay" after most sentences. He is believed to be from Louisiana and is assumed to be at least 40 years old. Mr. Mackey is based on Trey Parker's own junior high school counselor, Stan Lackey, but has a disproportionately large head. He has occasionally taught classes at the school and had a sexual relationship with another teacher, Ms. Choksondik, until her death. After her passing, he took over the fourth grade class until the original teacher returned. Despite his strange habits and appearance, Mr. Mackey is a caring and responsible counselor who genuinely cares about his students. He has been shown to make controversial decisions in his role, such as prescribing heavy doses of Prozac to a student who claims to see Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo. He also prescribed the children Ritalin when they faked Attention Deficit Disorder, and passed around marijuana during a drug-education class which later led to him being fired and evicted. He then struggled with alcohol, marijuana, and LSD before being "cured" of his drug addiction in rehab and returning to his duties at South Park Elementary. It is also suggested that the tightness of his tie may have caused his large head.
