About Unity
Unity is a hivemind and Rick Sanchez's former lover, capable of taking on multiple forms. They briefly reunite with Rick in an episode, before ultimately ending the relationship once again. Unity also takes control of a group of aliens' minds, meeting Rick's grandchildren in the process. They plan to merge with the Galactic Federation, impressing Rick enough for the two to resume their romantic relationship. However, as Unity becomes preoccupied with reconnecting with Rick, they lose control of their citizens, leading to chaos and conflict on their planet. After deserting the city and planet, they continue to show care and concern for Rick, going so far as to take over the state of Virginia in an attempt to get his attention. Despite this, Rick continues to ignore Unity, and ultimately they end up separated once again.
