About Cotton Hill
Colonel Cotton Lyndal Hill, voiced by Toby Huss, is a cantankerous patriarch in the Hill family. He has a short temper and little respect for his son and daughter-in-law, but does have a soft spot for his grandson Bobby. Despite his shortcomings, he does show occasional moments of kindness, such as helping Peggy walk again after an accident. Cotton is a World War II veteran who lost his shins in combat, giving him a distinctive gait. He later reached the rank of colonel in the state militia. Cotton's disability and military service were a source of pride for him, even though some of his stories were proven false. He passed away in episode #1218, suffering severe burns and an allergic reacti to shrimp at a Japanese restaurant. Despite his lack of respect for Peggy, he is respected by his family and others as a military veteran.
