About Tuong Lu Kim of City Wok
Dr. William Janus has a humorous alter ego named Tuong Lu Kim who owns the local City Wok restaurant and City Airlines. He speaks with a stereotypical Chinese accent and often mispronounces words for comedic effect, such as 'city' as 'shitty'. This character first appeared in "Jared Has Aides" and has been a recurring character ever since, with his true identity not being revealed until "City Sushi". In "Jared Has Aides", the boys prank call him and then ask him to make Butters the new "Jared" for City Wok. When the real Jared reveals he has "aides", Lu Kim decides he doesn't want a "Jared" of his own, upsetting the boys. At the end of the episode, he offers them $15 (pronounced "fifteen dorra") and they decline. In "Child Abduction is Not Funny", Lu Kim is asked to build a wall around the town for protection. Despite expressing frustration, he ultimately fails his goal and becomes even angrier when asked to tear down the wall.
