Woodsman outfit
The Woodsman is portrayed in a traditionally rustic and somber attire that exudes an old-timey, utilitarian aura. His ensemble consists of a long dark grey coat reaching down to his knees with a high collar and black buttons in a single-breasted style and a shirt collar. Underneath, he wears a lighter grey collared shirt. His trousers are a matching dark grey, continuing the monochromatic theme. On his head, the Woodsman sports a faded black top hat that complements his outfit. He's equipped for the night with a lantern held firmly in his left hand, providing a necessary source of light in the dark surroundings. On his back he carries a large bundle of sticks, likely a result of his work, a utilitarian contrast to his somewhat formal attire, held up by a leather suspender harness, matching his black leather belt which he wears over his coat. He also carries a hatchet, a necessity in his line of work. His look is completed with tall dark Wellington-stlye boots, suitable for traversing through the woods, and altogether, his outfit seems practical for his woodland endeavours.
About Woodsman
The Woodsman, portrayed by Christopher Lloyd, is a former city judge who relocated to a rural home with his family. He is typically depicted wearing a stove pipe hat, dark clothing, and black boots, and is often carrying the Beast's Dark Lantern, an axe, or a large bundle of wood. Tragically, his wife was fatally wounded by an unidentified creature and the Beast deceived him into believing that he had captured his daughter's soul within the Dark Lantern. The Woodsman was then coerced into chopping down Edelwood trees to keep the lantern's flame alive. Once a municipal judge, the Woodsman moved to the countryside with his family, including his daughter, after a series of events in the city.[5] He is known for his distinctive appearance, often seen with the Beast's Dark Lantern, an axe, or a bundle of wood. Tragically, the Beast tricked him into thinking he had captured his daughter's soul in the lantern, forcing him to chop down Edelwood trees to keep the fire burning.
