The Gnomes' shirts are typically a long-sleeved garment with a light blue hue, offering a comfortable fit, and the sleeves extend just past Gnomes's elbows. This is paired with simple denim overalls, which lead down to a simple pair of dark brown boots. About Gnomes

The Gnomes, who are voiced by Alex Hirsch and named Jeff, Carson, Steve, Jason, and Shmebulock, make their first appearance in the series by capturing Mabel by disguising themselves as a boy named "Norman" in order to make her their queen. However, Dipper intervenes and saves her from their plot. The gnomes are depicted as garden gnomes with red pointed caps, white beards, and sharp teeth, and they often run on all fours. Their leader, Jeff, holds a grudge against the twins. Shmebulock and his father, Shmebulock Sr., are also introduced, and they have a unique form of communication in which they can only say their names. It is revealed in Lost Legends that this is the result of a curse placed on them by a witch, and they are only able to speak normally once every several centuries. In a later episode, Dipper and Mabel attempt to enlist the gnomes' help to defeat a common enemy, but they ultimately fail as they are forced by Gideon to carry them away. Overall, the Gnomes and Shmebulock play a recurring role in the series and have distinct personalities and abilities that add complexity to the story.
